Learn More About Edwin

Growing up on Long Island, I have over 16 years of lacrosse playing experience, and a lifetime of experience as an athlete. I completed four years collegiate level lacrosse and captained for two years. I then went on to work as a coach for college lacrosse, and worked in youth athletics gym coaching for both children and adults after graduating Boston University. I hold a degree in Early Childhood education and sports medicine and have extensive teaching experience which greatly supports my work with youth athletes.

I provided athletic games coaching sessions that can help children of all ages and abilities improve their physical and mental health through exercise. My programs are designed to instill confidence in students, and promote teamwork and empathy for each other in a sports context. All students will be treated as equals. We will work to lift each other up and not put anyone down. I found my passion for sports and athletics at a young age, and hope to be a mentor to students and help them develop this same love for sports. I employ group games, training sessions, and more specialized coaching sessions to improve athlete performance while making sure everyone has fun and enjoys their time playing.
